Sven joined Earlybird as a venture partner in 2008. In this position he leverages his entrepreneurial experience as well as his network, especially regarding the consumer internet segment. Amongst others, Sven is the co-founder and managing director of OSN GmbH (verwandt.de, itsourtree.com) and of Auskunft.de Informations GmbH.

Together with his co-founder Daniel Grözinger he is an active business angel. Both are the lead investors in Pennergame.de (by Farbflut Entertainment GmbH), Germanys largest browser game. Furthermore, Sven is an active investor with regard to Senacor AG, a company he supported as managing director of the holding company in the past.

Sven also co-founded VC-backed getgo.de that was sold 2002 in a successful trade sale to European market leader CTS Eventim AG. At CTS Sven was head of two out of four business divisions (New Media as well as Large Scale Projects, e.g. FIFA World Cup 2006 Ticketing).

After studying business administration in Düsseldorf (Germany), Leipzig (Germany), and the U.S., Sven joined McKinsey & Company in Düsseldorf as a consultant. He has a Diplom-Kaufmann degree as well as an MBA.
